Holiday/family visit and transit

Nationals of the following countries do not require visas to visit Argentina for tourism or family visit for a period not exceeding 90 days or for transit:
United States of America, Andorra, Australia, Austria, Barbados, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Holy See, Honduras, Hong Kong S.A.R., Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, San Marino, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Business Visa

Nationals of the following countries do not require visas to visit Argentina for business for a period not exceeding 90 days:

United States of America, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Guyana, France, Hong Kong S.A.R., Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, and United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Grenada (up to 30 days).

Visa requirements and application forms for nationals of non-exempt countries

Technicians, artists, athletes, conferencists and other professionals

Specialized technicians and other professionals; cultural artists and entertainers, including musicians and stage artists; investors and market researchers (whether paid or unpaid in Argentina)

Nationals of the following countries do not require visas to visit Argentina for any of these purposes for a period not exceeding 90 days:

Brazil, Bulgaria, France, Iceland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Participants in sport events (whether paid or unpaid in Argentina)

Nationals of the following countries do not require visas to visit Argentina for any of these purposes for a period not exceeding 90 days:

Holders of US Reentry Permits and Refugee Travel Documents, and other travel documents different from passports

Holders of travel documents different from passports (i.e. US Reentry Permit or Refugee Travel Document, Republic of Korea Travel Certificate), must apply for a visa, regardless of their nationality and even if they are permanent residents of the United States. The visa-exempt country-list was last updated on August 15, 2007 and is subject to change without notice. Please contact our offices at least thirty (30) days prior to the estimated date of departure to avoid inconveniences.

The Consulate is located in Midtown Manhattan at 12 West 56th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Subway: E (to Fifth Avenue station); F (to 57th Street station); N, R, W (to Fifth Avenue station). View map

The Visas Department is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm (for submission and collection of visa applications) and from 2:00pm to 5:00pm (for collection only). The Consulate is closed on Argentine and U.S. holidays.
