Visa-exempt countries
Holders of diplomatic,
official and service passports of the following countries do not require
visas
to travel to Argentina on official mission, accreditation or on
leave:
Albania, Algeria,
Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Bolivia,
Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, People’s Republic of China (up to
30 days), Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark,
Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Estonia,
Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana,
Haiti, Holy See, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Iceland,
Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein,
Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Republic of Malta, S.M.O.
of Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Morocco, The Netherlands, Nicaragua,

Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San

United Nations Laissez-Passer
U.N. officials holders of
a Laissez Passer must apply for a visa regardless of their nationality.
Argentine nationals
holders of U.N. Laissez Passer must use their Argentine passport to enter
and leave Argentine
territory, except when visiting Argentina on official mission for a period
not exceeding 10 days (in which case they must
apply for a visa)
Visa application materials
(1) Passport or travel
document: must have at least one completely blank page. In general,
passports should be valid for a
minimum of six months from the intended date of entry. We cannot issue
visas valid beyond a passport’s
expiry date.
(2) A completed
application form:

(3) 1 recent passport
style photograph
(4) Evidence of
immigration status in the U.S.: i.e. U.S. “A” or “G” visa, valid form
I-94.
(5) Official letter
from the embassy, consulate or permanent mission of the applicant’s
country or from the United Nations:
The letter must indicate the applicant’s full name, his/her travel
document type and number, relevant
information about his/her mission in Argentina, duration of the visit,
date of arrival and flight number (if
available).
Processing information
The visa-exempt
country-list was last updated on August 9, 2007. Please contact
our offices at least ten (10) days prior to the estimated
date of departure to avoid inconveniences. Applications are
generally given next-day service. However, visas may require
authorization from the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is, therefore, advisable that visa applications be submitted
at least ten (10) working days prior to the proposed date
of departure to avoid inconveniences.
Diplomatic and official
visas are issue free of charge as a courtesy to the foreign government or
the international
organization.

2:00pm to 5:00pm (for both submission and collection of visa
