Birth, marriage and death certificates; diplomas and school transcripts; powers of
attorney; assignments; affidavits and miscellaneous statements

The Consulate does not and cannot authenticate any of these documents. Both Argentina and the United States follow the “Hague Legalization Convention,” according to which, for a document to    be used in Argentina, it needs to bear an “Apostille,” issued by the State authentication authority. Where can I get the Hague Legalization Convention “Apostille” certificate on a document?

Price lists and commercial invoices

Price lists and commercial invoices must bear the raised seal and signature of a registered chamber   of commerce. The Argentine Consulate in New York can only authenticate chamber of commerce certificates from the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. Other Argentine consulates in the United States     ,      Please submit the original document (no photocopies or faxed copies will be accepted). The fee is US$ 40 per price list or commercial invoice, payable by money order only (make it payable to the “Consulate General of Argentina in New York”). We do not accept cash or checks.
